nice wolf. get lots of pics. you will make history being there the first day of the first scarywood. looking forward to your tr. -styvx Will do, I'll be sure to try and get any daytime pics of the train route to hopefully show any props in it. Oh yes, the website updated once again. A while back there was a rumor that Nick Norton would be doing a Halloween show in a redecorated theater of Illusion. While there is no word on a redecorated theater, the website announced Nick Norton will be doing a show called "Nightmare".

That is great news about a Nick Norton Halloween show - I am getting more and more excited each day for this event! I think this was an excellent move on the part of Silverwood! Nuttyguy, as of right now, I am planning to be there on October 17th as well, so maybe we'll run into each other. 26 days and counting....

Well this is certainly getting more exciting every time there's an update, and once again I found another. This time it's from Layne Pitcher's Twitter, Layne is Silverwoods Marketing Manager. His latest tweet is that the sets for MidFRIGHT Express are going up today (Tuesday). Sets eh? Well it looks like the train will most certainly be interesting, though the main question is what the sets are? Looks like we will all just have to wait and see. 10 more days for me! twitter.com/layne_pitcherQUICK UPDATE: Apparently on the website they added something to the description of Terror Canyon Trail...a maze. It should be interesting to see if it includes an actual maze, or just the general term for the path itself. Though the site is also calling it "Terror Canyon walking Trail. Looks like they need that up so people know your not riding a raft.

Wish I could go up, but busy with school and such. Glad to know we'll have some pictures, though; am very excited to see what it'll look like, though it'll probably be hard to get night pictures due to the rudeness of using a flash camera while on the ride. =X Ah well. Wonder if they'll have any park employees or actors for it, or just animated things? Real is always more fun... Come right up to the people. Awesome!

Silverwood has put a lot of time and thought into Scarywood, but you can tell that they are learning as they go. Silverwood has all kinds of halloween decorations and some of the names of the stores have been changed for the event.
This week the run throughs for the two haunts are going on and so far everything seems to be going well. I would say that there are about 40 scareactors all through out the park and the haunted attractions. It's about time Silverwood had a halloween event.

I also want to say that since Silverwood has done their best to produce a Halloween event then you should try to go to the event if you can. I also think you should contact Silverwood and thank them for being outside of the box.

Not sure I'd consider a Halloween event "outside the box", but I certainly will be thanking Silverwood for doing the event. I think it is going to turn out excellent from everything I'm hearing. A very good effort for their first year, and no doubt it will be repeated in the future.

^ Agreed.
I'm certainly not going to thank them for being "out of the box" being as they are one of the last parks in North America to do a Halloween event and have just now jumped INTO the box with 95% of the rest of the parks already doing Halloween events. But a general "thank you" is probably in order.
