This park should cut its price in half. Coasters have 1 car running at all times. Ten minutes in between rides. Over an hour in any line. The famous ice cream parlor that has lines wrapped around building shuts one of the ice cream stands at 8PM because of child labor laws and the employees need to go home. Food is the best value. The whole park is run by high school kids during the summer. Spent more time at the wave pool so we could just do something instead of standing, standing, and standing in line. Nothing like paying $40 and doing nothing. Themes is pathetic to say the least. The log flume ride was the worst I have ever been on. It’s a glorified lazy river. This is a glorified road carnival at best.

^ I get some of your points. "Glorified road carnival" though, is quite inaccurate, being as you cannot find one single legitimate coaster poll that doesn't have Tremors as at LEAST a top 20 wooden coaster in the world and Timber Terror usually falls easily in the top 50. As far as running one train, well, join the club. This is the single biggest complaint I hear about Silverwood, not only from coaster enthusiasts, but nearly everyone else who visits the park. Silverwood is VERY lucky that a large number of people who frequent their park, live in Northern Idaho and have literally never been to any other park.
As far as the crowds and the staffing, you pretty much described every single seasonal theme park in the world during the peak operating season. The nearest park where the majority of the employees are not high school students is located in Southern California. It's called the Disneyland Resort (you may have heard of it) and it is a lot more than 40 bucks to get in. It is also the ONLY park on the entire west coast that doesn't have the conditions you just described on a busy day. The next closest park I can think of that employs mostly adults is Dollywood.
Overall, I think your critique is a bit "out of touch" with reality.
The log flume does suck pretty bad though!

To the OP, I'm not sure what you expected? OK, I'm with you on the stupid "one train on ever coaster" complaint. So is pretty much everyone else in the world as Skylark points out. However, overall there is no better park than SW in the entire Northwest. Period.
And theming? SW is much better themed IMO than most of the parks out there.

^I also want to add...if you think Silverwood has long waits and all you do is stand in line, you seriously need to spend some summer time at a Six Flags park. I have been to four theme parks this summer and Silverwood (even on a Saturday) had the shortest lines of any of them. By far.

I agree. I went to Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ a couple of summers back, and spent the entire time-10AM to midnight waiting in line. 4 hours for Kingda Ka, 1.5 hours for El Toro, 2 hours for Superman, and 15 minutes to ride a small flat ride. That was the entire day. SW is a great value, especially if you have a season pass and can visit on off peak days. So stop complaining!

I never exspected Disney by any means. Tremors is a good ride but Ghost Rider is one of mf favorite wood coasters. SW has been around a while and i see that they want low cost rides rather then move people thru them. By the way , is Tremors a Earthqake theme? I could not tell? LOL

The log flume ride was the worst I have ever been on. It’s a glorified lazy river. You've obviously never been on the "Wild River" at the Fun Forest at the Seattle Center. Take a spin on that - you'll appreciate Silverwoods much more. Wild River is an absolute joke - you get to the top and there isn't even water in the flume - you're just on rollers! I'll take Silverwood's anyday over that laughable "log flume". Also Lagoon's log flume is worse - it's a fraction of the length of Silverwood's. Now, compared to Splash Mountain or Timber Mountain - yes, Silverwood's is terrible, but that's a whole different story.

Um, wow, you cant be serious... Tremors is by far better than GhostRider. First of all, I'm sorry, but thanks to Cedar Fair letting GhostRider (and most of their other woodies) go to the crapper, it is unbearably rough, and not enjoyable by any means. Tremors on the other hand, while it can be rough at times, it tops GhostRider on any day. I think it has it's Top 10 status to back that statement up.
