You've obviously never been on the "Wild River" at the Fun Forest at the Seattle Center. Take a spin on that - you'll appreciate Silverwoods much more. Wild River is an absolute joke - you get to the top and there isn't even water in the flume - you're just on rollers! I'll take Silverwood's anyday over that laughable "log flume".
Also Lagoon's log flume is worse - it's a fraction of the length of Silverwood's.
Now, compared to Splash Mountain or Timber Mountain - yes, Silverwood's is terrible, but that's a whole different story.[/quote]
LOL. Now, you got to be kidding? I had the idea that you were going to compare amusement parks? THE FUN CENTER? LOL. Yes, im from seattle and will not step foot on any ride at fun center. Now that im done ribbing this....can you imagine what they could do with the Seattle center and Disney was looking at buying it all at one time. Shame. Its an amusement park alraedy there and no rides.

Yeah I agree with the whole there needs to be more than one train on like all of the coasters it makes the wait so much longer... I feel like it is almost like a road carnival with what rides they have there.... The only thing really awesome about the park is the two woodies and aftershock! and the drop tower thats it.... For goodness sake it makes Wild Waves in Seattle look amazing with its ride selections....

^I don't know about that...
Silverwood has two world class wooden coasters and now a GIB. They have a solid raft ride and a solid flume ride. A drop tower. A real steam engine train that travels into the woods. A corkscrew interlaced with other rides. Nice theming and beautiful landscaping. Very well kept and clean. Boulder Beach has a good selection of attractions and is one of the nicest themed water parks in the country.
Wild waves has Timberhawk, which is widely regarded as a mediocre coaster. Then they have a small mouse and an off-the-shelf loopscrew which sits on a slab of concrete. No drop tower, no log flume, no rapids ride, no train. Their water park has some great slides but is basically unthemed and needs some upkeep.
The flat rides at both parks are just standard carnival fare. Wild Waves offers a bit more in this area, but there is nothing jaw-dropping or hard-to-find.
To say that Silverwood makes Wild Waves look amazing is a bit of a stretch indeed...

^ Agreed, for me I wouldn't even think about saying Silverwood makes Wild Waves look amazing.
Right now the only thing Wild Waves has on Silverwood is a Halloween Event, though that can change very quickly when SW builds the Hotel.
Oh yes, Wild Waves has a major detriment that will probably affect it in the future...Lack of Room to expand. (Something that cannot be said with Silverwood.)
