This news has been confirmed and there is a rumor that the ride will be repackaged with a Northwest theme.

^This isn't Disney though. This is a small regional theme park. If this thing is getting moved to Silverwood we will know within the next few months just based on track siting alone. And in my humble opinion: Invertigo > Deja Vu. I disagree with your statement that Silverwood is a small regional park. Silverwood is now really growing in reputation to be a force in the theme park industry even though it is not owned by any major theme park company. Silverwood's future is second only to Dollywood among what I call "B" theme parks. BTW a "B" grade park is very good as I think A grade theme parks are Disney, Universal, Knott's, Busch Entertainment and maybe one or two Six Flags parks.

Ay,yi,yi..while Screamscape isn't 100% reliable, they have been hitting the mark pretty good so there is a better chance of this being true. That and I admit this is better news then of Kennywood being bought out by a big ride coperation. (Chances are, you can kiss the charm of that park GOOD-BYE!) All I can say is SW better have a good warentee on this just in case it goes back to it's old "matenence nightmares with really long down times etc."

^^ Monkeybeast, while I agree with you that Silverwood is a great park, it most certainly IS a small regional park. That isn't a bad thing at all, but it is the truth. Outside of the coaster enthusiast community, Silverwood is virtually unknown. Dollywood is one of many what you call "B" theme parks that are more well known (even among theme park enthusiasts) than Silverwood. Knoebels, Silver Dollar City, Cypress Gardens, even Lagoon (just to name a few off the top of my head) are bigger, with more coasters and rides, and are more well known throughout the US.
Silverwood is a very small park. It is a great park and I hope they continue to grow as I think they will. It does look like Deja Vu is for real. As I have already said, I really have mixed feelings about the ride. It will be a big hit, IMO, as most people who visit Silverwood have never seen a coaster like it. But if Silverwood is planning on continuing to grow, I REALLY think they need to go after rides that can mover people efficiently. Vu, no matter what ride ops are running it, is about the furthest thing from efficient as there is. Still, a fairly painful, very low capacity coaster, is better than nothing I guess.

The scource I found was Screamscape, while it's not 100% reliable...it has been right for most of the time. www.screamscape.com/html/silverwood.htmlHowever, it didn't say anything about a Northwest theme so I have no idea where Monkeybeast got his info.

Wow.
Screamscape still has this as a "rumor" BUT it sounds like their "sources" have confirmed the ride is coming.
I'm surprised, shocked, and still don't think this is a good decision overall.
But again, something is always better than nothing.

screamscape lists it's sources as this topic in this forum. So, as far as we know, they have no other sources then what I found on the "public" employee forum.

If Silverwood is getting Deja Vu, either they're getting SFOG's, or they arent getting it until 2009. So far, SFGAm's Deja Vu is still completely in tact. I see no possible way that they could get it taken down, shipped to Silverwood, reassembled, and running in time for 2008.

dejavu2001, I think they could easily take down, move, and re-install the ride with the remaining winter/spring months. And no one said it would have to open on the first day the park is open anyway. They could wait and open it for the peak summer crowds if needed.
