Most of the above statements are incorrect. I will confirm this:
3-Dementia is moving to a new, larger location for 2013! It will be over 5000 square feet this year (last year it was just over 4000 square feet) and will include some awesome new additions!

^I don't know what any of that stuff means, and I have no reason to trust the credibility of any of this anyways. For all I know you are just making it all up lol.
Whatever happens this year, I just want to see some changes. I don't know if I can take another year of Blood Bayou, Zombiewood, and Terror Canyon being the same old thing. So if you're trying to tell me that things are going to be completely switched up, then good. I hope it's all true!
3-Dementia is the only thing I want to see return in 2013. Everything else needs major changes to keep it fresh.

At the very least Blood Bayou needs a significant retool and the train could use a fresh script.
I also think the clown carnival might be in need of a retool as well. I've enjoyed it greatly but I'm not sure what can be added to it. Three years have made it feel pretty old hat just like the train and blood bayou.
The new scarezone in coaster alley could still stick around though the decoration and design could use refinement.
You know what I'd like to see make a comeback? The Zombie hunter shirts they had back in 2010. Unique merchandise in general is great but the blood splatter shirts were awesome and were much better merchandise than most of the Scarywood stuff in my view.

I hope some new attractions are added to help alleviate the lines at other haunts.

Chris, Most of my info is based on the marketing side, not the construction and design side. If I am wrong about any of the statements I have made I will own up to it in September.

The Scarywood Facebook page has now began a countdown to the start of the event and is offering exclusive news about the event to anyone who likes the page. I wonder if people who like the page will be able to solve cryptic statement 4 and 5? Also, Silverwood is teasing us by saying "its" coming, is it a clue or a misspelling? I am positive Tim Curry is not coming, but I am positive that whatever is coming will smell really, really bad.

Looks like the Scarywood website has recieved a update, and this year it's looking to be quite big. Case in point, over on the rides and attractions page they have a whopping 16 tiles representing something!!! www.scarywoodhaunt.com/rides-attractions.phpThree of them are showing that the Clown Town scare zone, Backwards Timber Terror and Zombiewood Express will return. Out of the remaining tiles, two are marked as updated. So out of Terror Canyon, Blood Bayou, 3-Dementia and the Oddities scare zone...only two of those are coming back. The remaining 11 tiles are marked as NEW. Better yet, the tiles show when they'll be revealed! (Except for one marked as "Coming Soon".) The next couple reveals will all be something new, and that'll be on the 24th, 26th and 31st of this month.

It's the 23rd, and right on cue they've announced a new attraction/show for the event.
Rolling Bones
"If you are feeling cold to the core, then make your way over to the High Moon Saloon and enjoy the music of the "Rolling Bones." This band of skeletons will be performing all night for your enjoyment when your hands are numb or you need a break from the terror happening outside the saloon doors. Just sit back and relax to the sounds of the dead."
Judging by the picture given, this is looking to be a animatronic show.
Also, looking at how things are arranged in the ride and attractions grid, I have a feeling they have it set up in a particular arrangement.
Top Row: Mazes (This is where both of the "Updated" attractions are) 2nd Row: Scare Zones (This is where the Clown Town tile is.) 3rd Row: Shows (Rolling Bones just popped up in this row) Bottom Row: Rides/Other (Both Backwards Timber Terror and Zombiewood Express are on here)
The next update is this Friday, and it's placement is the top row. If my hunch is correct, it'll be a maze. Either way, whatever is getting announced on Friday is new.

so with your logic that means we'll have at least two new scare zone locations and oddities and the entrance both getting entire revamps. Likewise we'll be seeing two new rides enter the lineup? Either way it seems theres still alot of space open for other small little additions. Maybe they'll even make the changes to the Magic Theater I always talk about. Or have a real show there. A large show lineup sounds exciting really. Wonder if they'll get people staying multiple days for this event soon?

I think Silverwood is creating new themed areas that will feature non-actor scare attractions to help boost the fright experience as well as support the 200 or so scareactors that perform during Scarywood. I also think once all the areas are announced Silverwood will inform us of an interactive game they wish for us to play.
