^^
As I said, it's just a hunch so I could be totally wrong. Though if it turns out it's true, then it does look like we'll be getting three new scare zones.
I will admit I would like my hunch to be true since the new shows would not only help disperse the crowds, but also make the event more well-rounded. (An' last year they were mentioning it's getting to the point where you need more then one day to see everything.) Either way, we'll probably get a good inkling if the hunch is true or not on Wednesday when they announce the next attraction in the third row.
As for the bottom row, I guessed it as "Rides/Other" since while there's possibilities of rethemed/spruced up rides...I'm not 100% sure the remaining two attractions in the bottom row are rides.
Finally, I do have a gut feeling tomorrows update is a new maze. It's gonna' be fun to see if and what it is, especially since I remember last year I sent the park a rather big email of suggestions/ideas for the event, if they use one of them, I'd be happy.

new photo op! I'm pretty sure this dispells your order theory unless the two updated attractions end up being photo ops.
Much like shows though this is a good addition and something the park has lacked. They've had a few in the last couple years but they arn't very distinguished. Hopefully they set things up more around the park. While it was cool to have the one photo op in the line for Blood Bayou, the pacing of the line didn't make the location ideal for some visitors. Theming should be in the queues and photo ops should be outside the queues and around the park.
Now I'm curious how many photo ops there will be lol.

Yeah, my theory is thrown right out the window with this. Once again Silverwood pulled out a surprise, and with that there is a chance Oddities could return.
Apollo
"The perfect picture is always right around the corner. As you make your way down the path to the unknown, a mysterious greek structure has been constructed for your photographic desires. Walk right up but choose wisely what statue you stand next to because what you once thought was fake might turn that smile into a horrific scream."
It'll be located in Country Carnival, and now that I think about it, this matches up with the "Picture This!" statement given earlier by Brandon. An' with my hunch proven wrong, I have no idea what'll be announced on Wednesday. Anything is fair game at this point.

Photo ops are a good method of viral marketing I think, especially if there are effects that activate when the photos occur.
I suppose now its plausible that Oddities and 3Dementia are the two updated attractions which could work as they are the newest things at the event.
I'm not going to throw out the idea that Terror Canyon could be updated. Mostly because I can't see the location NOT being used and the theme would probably always involve walking around outdoors in some form (even if drastically retooled). but I do hope that Terror Canyon gets an update and new storyline.
Its very possible for Oddities to vanish like 3Dementia and have its more successful elements reincorporated into something new.

As a quick heads up, there's been a slight change in the updates. Whatever was originally going to be announced today has been rescheduled to be revealed on Aug. 13th. So the next update will be whatever's being revealed on Friday.

oh good, for a moment I thought I'd gotten confused as to when the announcement dates were. Well back to waiting a few more days I suppose.

We got a new maze announcement today!
Blackout
"When the lights go out, there’s nothing to stop your brain from becoming your own worst enemy. Pitch black! Did you hear that? What’s that touching my leg? I need to get out of here! Snakes, spiders, and cockroaches fill the room…and that’s only the queue line waiting to get into the maze.
Location: Theater of Illusions"
It's pretty easy to tell this one is going to mess with core fears and senses, should be fun to see how it'll be executed. Also, it's nice to see they'll be using the Theater of Illusions for a haunt since it's nicely sized for one. Finally, the next update will be next week and it'll reveal an updated attraction.
*Speaking of which, I got a new theory on how the attractions are arranged. The theory is they're arranged alphabetically, if that turns out to be true, then the updated attraction that'll be announced next week will be Blood Bayou. An' that would leave the first tile for 3-Dementia as numbers usually come before letters in some setups. Could be totally wrong again, but I'll certainly know the verdict next week.

I think Blackout will prove that what is in the darkness is much more of a threat than the darkness itself.
I am pretty sure Blood Bayou has been retired and we will see 3Dementia or something new take its place.
I have heard a rumor that claims SpinCycle will operate during Scarywood with some special effects.

You and your theories I've just accepted it as being whatever they feel like revealing. The Theater of Illusions is a good location though it will remove the pizza option for the event. I guess the main eateries will be in the entrance? I suppose most people subsist on snacks anyways. I'll be curious to see how food works though I do like rainproof attractions especially for the actors sake. I like the idea of sensory thrills for the queue. Assuming significant remodeling handles on Blood Bayou and Terror Canyon then they could retrieve at least a few Snake animatronics as well as giant spider props Maybe even the darkness maze segment could be lifted and expanded into this while rebuilding and providing some sort of new segment for Terror Canyon. I'm not really sure what to expect. Honestly everything could be new or everything could be radically altered. I'm curious as to how much of a maze blackout proves to be, and to what degree the sensory factors play into its execution. It's always hard to tell with these first run attractions. Mindwarp was pretty underwhelming at its debut but now we have the much supperior 3Dementia.

^ Forgive me, I've been too used to theories from Halloween Horror Nights. Though with websites, there usually is some kind of order to a layout. If my hunch is proven true, then for sure Blood Bayou and 3Dementia are returning.
Also, does anyone have the feeling we might be getting a 4th maze? With the rumor of 3Dementia being in a new location and the good chance Terror Canyon is not returning...that does open up a spot or two for a 4th maze.
