^I saw this on Screamscape the other day. I'd like to know more details about the ride, but I am glad to see they are adding something new this year. That's definitely a good thing for them.
It will be interesting to see how the new management does with the park. Hopefully they can turn it into a place I actually have a desire to go to. I still find it ironic that I've lived in Seattle for 4 1/2 years now, and I'll happily drive out to Silverwood once or twice a year, but I honestly just don't really even think about going to Wild Waves during the summer when it's open. Only been once since we moved here.
Who knows...maybe we'll give it another shot this summer.

I'll firmly admit the last time I've been to WW in the Summer was back when Timberhawk opened, since then the only time I've gone to the park is for Fright Fest.
It'll be interesting to see how things go, the last major attractions added to the park were back when Six Flags owned it. (The massive expansion, Timberhawk, Zooma Falls.)
When Parc was managing things all they put in were two flat rides, gave Fright Fest it's most topsy-turvey quality of back-to-back years. (Three years ago with two new mazes - Great! Two years ago with the main returning and a different second maze - Crap! Last year with one maze and several small scare zones - Better then last year, with some potential here and there.)
Now with NorPoint managing things, the new ride is already a plus. That and they're bringing back the season pass coupon book which is making passholders happy. Especially since there's three "Bring a friend for free" coupons and a "Bring a friend to Fright Fest for $5." coupon.
If they can bring the quality of the park up, that'll be nice. Since I mainly hit the park for Fright Fest, I would like to see consistancy with the event.
