Some friends of ours were at the park about a week ago and mentioned that Corkscrew was down the entire day. Was this a one-time event or is the ride down for some reason?

I was there today and rode it--it was working fine.

It was also down when we went the week of July 19th. Not sure why, but everything else was up.
I should also note that the park was CROWDED. We went on a Thursday, but there were way more people than I have ever seen. It took us at least an hour to get through the lines for each roller coaster and the water park wasn't much better.
Those coasters really need another car. I hate waiting in lines. =X

^Well that sucks to hear. I'll be there this Thursday and Friday. I don't mind crowds, but I detest slow-moving lines.
SILVERWOOD, YOU NEED TO ADD ANOTHER TRAIN TO TREMORS AND TIMBER TERROR!!!!!

I went to Silverwood in June 2010 and the corkscrew wasn't working as well.

everyone complains about the head racking in between the shoulder restraint pains. this being the first upside down ride i ever been on brings back good memories not to mention my step dad help build it (: i would love a career in helping design silverwood or a themepark in general. a young thrill seeker opionist and creator (:
