Just wondering.. What are your top roller coaster/ride marathons at SW and BB in one day? 10 times on Panic Plunge and 25 times on Velocity Peak for me ;D.

Two years ago I attended Coaster Alley Convergence. It was two hours of night time ERT on Tremors and TT after the park closed. I didn't keep track of how many rides we got, but there were barely enough people to fill both trains. They were giving us all re-rides sending the trains through without even stopping them in the station. We would typically get three or four rides without leaving our seats. We spent most of the two hours at TT and had to have gotten at least 20 rides in, along with maybe a half dozen on Tremors.

^I was also at CAC 2005, and my count at the end of the night was 21 total for TT and Tremors combined - I can't recall how many on each, but I know the majority of those rides were on TT. Great night, but man that food we had was (personally - not sure about the rest of you) a TERRIBLE choice to give to people who were about to ride coasters for 2 hours straight - I didn't feel so good on the way home!

I've done one marathon this season, and that was on Aftershock. I did 22 times in a row (getting off, getting back in line, repeat) on a day when bad weather was forecasted, but never came, therefore made lines extremely short all day long. On the 22nd ride that night, I finally made it to 50 rides total this season, which was my goal for the season.

man do you realize how luck you are. think about all the six flags visitors who never got to ride this thing because it was broken. and you rode it 50 times in half a season. cool.

Hey, I broke my old totals! During one visit, I got 9 rides on Aftershock and 12 rides on Panic Plunge! Anyway, it was during a hot day when most people were over at Boulder Beach. At one point, I was the only person on Panic Plunge for two rides and during one ride on Aftershock, I was the only person in the back section, as the ride was practically empty. Anyway, can anybody suggest the best days and times in August to get riding marathons on popular rides? I have a season pass, so I can go on peak or offpeak days. Any help would be awesome!
Oh, and btw calicoaster-I believe I have figured out which Aftershock ride operator that you are- I remember talking to you on the day I did my 9 ride marathon. Is that the only ride you work on or do you work on some of the other popular rides? Anyway, its good to hear from a Silverwood employee in these forums!

We have a lot of people who come to try to break marathon records on Shock, but I usually don't see people shooting for 9 in a day, which is how I remember you . Most of the time, yes, I am on Aftershock. However, there are times where I do work Tremors or Timber Terror.
