OK, so I'm guessing we all like coasters and theme parks but what are some of your other hobbies? My number one hobbie (even before coasters) is drag racing. I have a 65 Buick Skylark that I have owned sense I was seventeen that I drag race an average of twice a week from March thru September. I also love music. I have played the piano sense I was five and also play the drums in a band with some good buddies of mine. Other hobbies include, video editing, photopraghy, hiking and fishing, working in my yard (I have two ponds in my back yard) and of course, spending time with my wife and two kids. Here is a combination of two of my favorite hobbies link. It is a video I made of some highlights from my 2005 drag racing season. So, what are everyone elses hobbies?

I have two major hobbies, and I'm not sure which I'd place first...I like them both so much. One of them is music. I have also played the piano for a long time (since I was in 1st grade). I also play the guitar and drums. I have been playing drums in a band with my two brothers, but since I just moved to Seattle, we probably won't be able to play as often. My other hobby is snow skiing. I love skiing so much, I try to go several times a year. I just hate how expensive it is! I also enjoy photography as well, though I'm not a professional by any means, and I like web design and graphic arts.

^ I used to snow ski all the time. I haven't gone much in the last few years because, like you said, it is so expensive. But when I was a teenager I lived for being on the mountain. We definitely have similar interests.

We definitely have similar interests. What places did you go to frequently? What resorts have you been to? I've been to the following places: In Washington: Bluewood White Pass Stevens Pass Crystal Mountain In Oregon: Mt. Hood Ski Bowl (I've heard this is lame resort at Mt. Hood compared to the others) In Idaho: Silver Mountain In Utah: Alta Brighton Hard for me to pick my favorite place, but when I was in Tri-Cities, White Pass was the best one locally. It was close enough that you could do it in a day, and it wasn't half bad. Great snow, great runs, and the crowds there were non-existent no matter the time of the year - weekend, holiday, you name it, I never felt like that place was crowded. Overall though, I think either Crystal Mountain or Alta are my favorite resorts that I've been to, but I couldn't go to either of those very often. I'd eventually like to ski more places around the country, but I don't think I'll be able to do that anytime soon. Oh and by the way...Bud - since when did you like Tennis???

^ I basicly lived at Mt Hood Meadows. i had a season pass for 5 years there.
Other than that I have been to Timberline many times and Ski Bowl. And yes, ski Bowl is by far the worst of the three resorts on Hood, but also the least expensive. I used to make three or four trips a year to Mt Bachelor ski resort (by far the nicest in Oregon) but haven't been in about ten years.
I have also been to Whisler, BC. There are no words to describe that place. Simply amazing! If you ski from the top of Whisler Mountain to the village, it takes about 45 minutes if you are skiing pretty hard. If you were there a month, and skied every day, and skied a different run every time, you still would not have time to ski every run. It is that insane.
