Last weekend we were at the park, and TT broke down at the end of the day when we were in line. The ride apparently got stuck on the lift hill. As we were exiting, I overheard some people mentioining that it was the second time it had broke that day.
I'm a bit suprised because I've been to Silverwood lots of times and I've NEVER had any of the roller coasters break or not be operating ever. They have always been working. Just wondering if anyone there at the park might be able to shed some light on this...has this been happening lately, or was it just sort of a one time thing?

there are dozens of reasons it can stop on the lift hill, and most them are not because it's "broken". The most common reason is because a employee hit the big red e-stop button because a guest was breaking a rule (trying to stand, etc etc).
There is a rare occasion it is stopped due to a maitnence issue, but usually its some dumb kid breaking a rule.

as well, the rides do break occaisonally, but every ride does, everywhere. The maitnence guys will always fix it though.

Yeah, that makes sense that it is usually someone being stupid, but I think this time it was a maintenance issue because my wife was watching the ride from the food area and she said the train was kind of jerking its way up the hill before it finally stopped.
I figured this wasn't the only time, I was just suprised since I'd never seen any of the coasters break down before. That's one nice thing about Silverwood, you can always count on all the rides running pretty much any day you're there. Other parks I've been to are the opposite, you can always plan on something not running. I'm sure as Silverwood grows, that will change though.

Its a common problem with rides these days, but Silverwood has always been a safe theme park, but anyways all great rides have issues.

Its a common problem with rides these days, but Silverwood has always been a safe theme park, but anyways all great rides have issues. the thing that makes it strange in this case is that sw has such a good track record for keeping their rides up and running all the time so to see one having regular problems seems out of place. we should count ourselves lucky to have a park like sw where you can pretty much know every day all the rides will be running. not like others (*cough* - six flags - *cough*)
