So, I've got this kind of on-going trip report of our first visit to Silverwood this year along with some other fun stuff we did along the way. The first updates are up and ther will probably be 2 or 3 more to come. Also check out my super cool Tromers POV! Trip ReportTremors POV

That sucks that Panic Plunge was closed when you were there! Geez, they put in a new ride and you don't even get to try it....oh well. Hopefully that isn't too frequent of an event. We're heading up next Friday and Saturday to go to both parks, and even though I'm not too excited about the drop tower, I'd like to at least try it out.
Very nice trip report, and I especially liked the Tremors video. Very well done! How did you make it so smooth? It looked like it was professionally done, like for an actual coaster video or DVD.

^ Panic Plunge opened aroud 4:00 pm on the second day we were there so we did get to ride it, I just haven't gotten that far yet in my TR. I'll post more tonight. The POV I got using my new "lipstick" camera. Basicly like a hemet cam. If you hold it tight down on the front of the car it comes out really smooth. It comes out glass smooth without any shake whatsoever if you tape it down tight to the train but I didn't get permission for that. I'm just glad they let me take the video I got. No trying to sneek on a camera. Not that I would ever attempt such a thing

^ Viosport. I paid somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 dollars after adding a few accessories. You also need a camcorder that is able to receive and record an analog signal from the helmet cam. All MiniDV camcorders have analog output, but, I would say less than half have analog input capabilities. Here is the link to Viosport's site. viosport.com/ I purchased the Adventure Cam III.
