Hey RCA Community! As if we didn't already have enough hints, we've got another one from the park. They sent us a package in the mail with an airsickness bag in it that has the following warning label: "Warning - Coming in 2013: 102' Thrill Ride & Family Fun Ride". Check it out here. Any other ideas as to what either of these new rides will be? Stay tuned for more. Your friends, Mike & Chris Roller Coaster Alley

OK, I'm back to thinking this is not going to be a coaster...too many references to spinning/nausea/etc. Coasters aren't known for making people puke.

I'm guessing its a flatride expansion with there now being two rides. I'm really curious to see what everything turns out to be. I'd still like for Silverwood to see a darkride at sometime in the future, between 3Dimentia and Blood Bayou I really think they could handle one. Wonder what kind of family ride and thrill ride we'll see, I wonder if both can be operated in October to buff up ridecount for Scarywood I'm really impressed with how fast the park is growing. The bones of the park were enhanced last year so now its good to see something that improves the park experience wise .

Have you ever been on X2 at Magic Mountain? That thing made me sick as heck. =P
Can't really give up hope on it being a new roller coaster. At 102' I really don't know what else it could be. Though I guess if it's one of a kind, no one really does.
...And one of these days I should probably make an account. /lazy

It could always be some sort of tower ride that includes 360degress spinning or something similar.

The construction started sometime last summer in 2012. It will be ready in May 2013.

^Correct, rideguy. There was construction in 2012 over by Coaster Alley, but it ended up being for the 3Dementia maze at Scarywood.
No construction was ever underway over in the area where the frisbee ride appears to be going.
I also noticed on the picture that it looks like they're going to have to change the pathway a bit over there, too, and I'm sure that would have been noticable.

I don't think the installation of either ride will be very time intensive so they'll be installed very rapidly once the weather permits then with a small amount of testing be up and running for the season. Its things like coasters or darkrides or any sort of building construction that take long periods of time.
Tweaking the trails will probably be the tricky part, it'll be interesting to see how the park shapes out when it reopens. Seems like every shift makes the park a bit more like the bigger players in the industry.
