So obviously the new entry plaza will be ready in 2013, and this will be a huge plus for the park. But will they add anything else? Of course I'd love to see a dark ride or another new coaster, but realistically, I doubt they are going to do either at this point. I think the most we can hope for is maybe a new flat ride. It is definitely time. Silverwood's collection of flats is one of the most dated out there. This park could benefit hugely from something new and big from someone like Huss. I still think a Giant Frisbee would fit this park wonderfully.
Or perhaps we will see Boulder Beach get the attention in 2013. They could really benefit from a Proslide Tornado or Probowl. Either would be a great addition and a real crowd pleaser. It would also be nice to see a second lazy river installed since the first one gets almost unbearably crowded during busy summer days, and I don't see a reasonable way to expand it at this point. Maybe the new one has a different theme or goes through some tunnels?
So what do you think we will see in 2013? Any new rides/slides or just the new entry plaza?

At the moment, time will tell. As we've seen before, the timeframe on when the park announces new attractions has been varied. Sometimes they announce before the new year begins, and other times they announce new additions months before the park reopens.
If I were to guess, I'd say Boulder Beach would be getting a new addition. From previous PTR's from the site, and a recent update to google maps you can see that the work being done in the airstrip area is nearby Boulder Beach. So there's a sizable amount of clearing behind Poliwog Park and the lazy river, and there's another large chunk of clearing behind the wave pools.
As for attractions, considering so far the entire park has been provided by Whitewater, I'm going to assume they'll be providing whatever comes next.*
*=The only exception is a Tornado slide, since while Whitewater has their own version called the Abyss...apparently it's not available in the states yet. So Proslide would certainly be the provider of that type of slide.
But yes, any kind of Tornado, Bowl slide would be a great addition to the park. Same goes for a mat racer or Aqualoop slide. For wishful thinking, I'd love for them to get one of Proslides Hydromagnetic Rockets. Or any enclosed Tornado/Bowl slide with special effects.
As for the park, hard to say. There's still the rumor of a wooden coaster from Rocky Mountain in 2014/2015. Now if they'll be putting anything in beforehand, I'd say it's more likely we'll see something from Zamperla or S&S.

^ Looking on their twitter, the hashtag of the post confirms it'll be a new ride.
So that answers this threads question, Silverwood is most certainly getting something new for 2013. All we know is it's a ride and it's BIG. Either way, it's going to be exciting!

Maybe they will jump on the bandwagon and add a woodie with an upside down barrel roll. It would go very nicely with the other two and still be something new and different.

^I just noticed that as well on their FB page. Makes me think one of two things:
1. New flat ride (i.e. giant frisbee or something of the like that spins)
or 2. Spinning coaster
I'm hoping for #2 - those are a lot of fun.

Personally I'm hoping for a spinning coaster as well, I know first-hand that the Gerstlauer ones are really fun and the ones from Maurer Sohne are usually great. So I'd be plenty happy with either of them even if it is a stock model. Even if it's not a spinning coaster, I look forward to whatever it may be. I'm not counting anything out since this is a timeframe where they can still add something major, that and there's big coasters out there which can go up rather fast. Update - I found a Spokesman Review article I didn't notice before, while this was posted back in May, it features a interview with Gary Norton who gives a nice hint on the future. Especially when asked what is his favorite spot in the park. www.spokesman.com/stories/2012/may/12/silverwood-gleams/As we know, that fenced off area is a nice chunk of land. Certainly enough for a mouse, spinner, Eurofighter to be put in it.

if its the back area then I'd think a Spinning Mouse or something family appropriate would go back there. Not sure about a Eurofighter though. That's just me though. I guess I'd always thought that area would go more towards a family or larger kid friendly ride rather than a coaster. I can't wait to find out what the new ride is
