Well in a turn of interesting events, the little news of Timber Terror going backwards has been removed from the site.
There's several things to consider here,
1. Somebody might have hacked the site and posted that as false information. (This is the least likely situation.)
2. Something came up where they found out they can't run it backwards.
or 3. The news was posted too early and/or they weren't supposed to put it out yet.
I'm thinking it's #3. Especially since something like this has already happened this year.
Over at Kings Island Halloween Haunt they put up their website and ended up taking it down shortly afterwards, since apparently it was revealing a couple things that weren't supposed to be announced yet. This could be the same case with TT running backwards, we'll just have to wait and see.

^That's a bummer if it really is no longer happening. My guess is most likely option #2. I doubt someone hacked the site, and it seems odd that this would qualify as "too early". The event starts in just two weeks after all - how much longer would they have wanted to wait? And even if it was accidentally released early, it seems late enough in the game that they would likely have just left it there. The cat's out of the bag already, after all.
So, I think most likely they ran across some sort of problem with it to where it either wouldn't work, would be too much work, or something to that extent.
But I do hope it gets re-posted, because I think it would be awesome!

Little update, it looks like Timber Terror will run backwards. The news has been put back up on the site, they just changed it a little bit.
"Only during Scarywood Haunted Nights, experience the jaw dropping Timber Terror Roller Coaster like never before, BACKWARDS!"
Also, SW updated on twitter.
"Main street is covered with cobwebs - Scarywood is coming! Who's ready to be scared???"

This is just confusing!!! MAKE UP YOUR MIND SILVERWOOD!!! Hopefully the announcement doesn't change again, but I think at this point it's safe to say it will be happening. I just wonder why they took it down in the first place!

Well we got another little update, now the site has posted the rules and guidelines for the haunts.
It's the usual no food and drink, don't touch the actors, not recommened for children under 12, the attractions use fog and strobe lights etc.
However, Blood Bayou has a extra rule that the other two don't have..."No shoes with high-heels or bare feet". Since it's the only haunt with that rule, there has to be a very special reason why. It could be that you're walking on sand, grated metal or any odd and uneven surface, or there's tilted or dropping floors. We'll just have to wait and see.
Though unfortuntly for me, I might not be attending Scarywood this year. Money has been a little tight the past few months, that and I landed a job at a Haunt where I'll be working Fri. and Sat. So that leaves me with a very small window to try and attend SW.

Another quick update, the site now has a commercial up.
Hmmm, I have a feeling what's shown in the commercial is a little taste of what's to come in Blood Bayou.
