..I missed it last night, but luckily my parents recorded it. I'll borrow it from them this weekend when we head to Tri-Cities for Thanksgiving. Was it good? Stupid? Really good? Really stupid? I'm interested in what people thought...but don't give anything away! (except for Jack dying at the end...everyone knows that happened...

Yes.
It was absolutely AWESOME.
A complete return to form for the show, IMO.
"Redemption" hit the nail on the head.

I wasn't quite as impressed as Bud but I did think it was good. Better than any episode last season.
I'm just concerned about the upcoming season. Bringing Tony back does not sit well with me at all. He was by far my favorite character (aside from Jack) of all the characters that have come and gone throughout the series. I think it is weak anytime a show brings someone back from the dead, and then to make him out as a bad guy.............? I've seed every episode from day one (or should I say hour one) so I'll certainly give it a fair chance. Who knows, mybe I'll really like it.

I finally got a chance to see this - we watched it on Hulu (which is a very cool site if you haven't checked it out) a couple days ago. I really liked it, too! It was really refreshing to see the show in a different form. No CTU, Jack in Africa, very few of the same characters - it really made for a nice mix. I also thought it was cool that they got Jon Voight to be on the show.
I'm with you Skylark - I don't what I think about Tony being "resurrected" - seems like kind of a stretch to me (I'll enjoy seeing them try to explain how he managed to survive his death). But I'll give it a chance. I read on Wikipedia that some of the writers and producers had openly gone on record to admit that they'd made some mistakes last season (which I agree with). One guy said that season six will be the last iteration of the show in its current form - and I think that's good. It needs to take a different direction - it was becoming WAY to predictable and repetitive.

For the record, I think this is the best season of 24 ever, and I've been watching faithfully since season 2.

Just finished watching the last episode of the season - interesting ending - they didn't really wrap anything up at all!
I'll say I think this year was WAY better than last year. It really took a good season like this to help me realize just how awful last year was. Great story this year, and a much better supporting cast. I'm really upset that Larry Moss died, because I really liked his character. But, that's 24! Anyways, I'm looking forward to what happens next, as always.
