SO, this is a little late, but, on Father's Day my family and I went to Oaks Park (our "home" park) for a few hours of fun. For how close this park is I really don't go that much. My kids usually end up going once or twice a year because of there really cool old skating rink, but it had been probably three years for me. It really is a nice little traditional park that I always seem to have a good time at when I do get around to going! Here are just a few pics. To see the full report go here! Park entrance. This park has been around a long time This one is much better than the one at Knott's. The loop is actually pretty smooth. The rest of the ride...........not so much. The historic Oaks rink. This is by far the biggest draw to the park. The bumper cars are seriously awesome too! One last shot down the midway. Again, you can go HERE to view the full report.

Hey Skylark, where is this park located, exactly? I guess I've never really heard of it...

It is litterally 10 minutes or less from downtown Portland right on the Willamette River in Sellwood. It is small but does have some traditional amusement park charm to it.
