Looping Thunder - Where is it? - Oaks Amusement Park

Hi Everyone,

Earlier this year Oaks Amusement Park in Portland, replaced their old Looping Thunder coaster with Adrenaline Peak, a new Gerstlauer Euro Fighter.

Does anyone know what happened to Looping Thunder? When I last saw it, it appeared to be still in good shape and I thought I read somewhere that it has a new home.

I could not find anywhere that said it had been officially scrapped but you never know.

Just curious but it seems like something Silverwood would be interested in!

P.S. Does anyone also know what is gonna happen with the old Lewis and Clark's Great Adventure/Haunted House building? Last time I was at Oaks it look like it had been gutted and they had a sign up promising something new.

So I went to Oak's over spring break.

Looping Thunder is still their, in pieces.

Part of it are over in a backstage area, and the other part is in the south end of the parking lot.

It looked like it had been piled there, and most of it looked intact.
