Hey guys, I was just looking back on Scarywood last year and realized I would really like to go back in the next couple of years, but had a question.
So after waiting ~1hr for each of the mazes, I felt pretty rushed through a couple of them. Total Darkness was good despite waiting almost 2 hours for that one, and 3Dementia was pretty chill and I didn't feel pushed through, but both times we went through Blood Bayou specifically it felt like we barely got to see the details they have gone to the trouble of adding to the sets. Caved In could have had some more scare actors and I think that would have slowed it down somewhat, but it also felt like a very quick maze for an hour of waiting.
My question is, closer to the beginning of the event, is the pace a bit more relaxed? Since it was the last Fri-Sat of the event and was packed, I'm assuming they were really trying to get everyone through quick to help with lines, and I appreciate it since the one they couldn't really force people through--Total Darkness--took FOREVER for the line to move. But if I go back, I would like to be able to take my time a bit more, especially in Blood Bayou since that was still my favorite, and IMO most well-polished attraction. Of course just going on a less busy day would mean you could get more runs in, even if they had the same pace

By the end of the first few nights we're all bored out of our minds. That first weekend is great for avoiding crowds. It'll also be the best staffed weekends in all of the attractions, although the second weekend will usually have people in better places that they enjoy more.
