If you had the funds to make a movie or a TV series about Silverwood what would it be? Would it be based on the real theme park or would it be based on a fictional town called Silverwood?
I would love to see Silverwood create a web series on You Tube as a way to market the park. They could have five minute episodes featuring a loony tourist family and their (mis)adventures through the park or they could have episodes about the train show characters allowing guests to become more familiar with the characters they see every hour on the hour at the park. A web series about Scarywood would also be great and would be a great way to bridge the storylines of each year together.

While a think a viral series for Scarywood would be successful, I don't see something similar working for Silverwood's normal opperations.
The reason I think a viral series could work for Scarywood is its an event and as such can have continuity and a progressive timeline which a viral video series could both aknowledge and develop to heighten the experience.
Promotion of regular opperations requires a different kind of outlook and promotion. You also need to tone of the commercial to match the tone of the park. I just think there's more leeway with some cheesiness in a Halloween promotion that will come off as forced or odd as a promotion for regular park opperations.
That said the park could benefit from more backstory being provided. Mostly to add to the fun of being there and exploring the pathways and such. Providing character and a solid experience will increase word of mouth and repeat business. However I feel that marketing would be most effective highlighting the key attractions and shows without much narrative.
