Okay. Its been well over 10 years since I have been to silverwood, last time I was there they only had Corkscrew. I've been thinking of making another trip up there.
I was wondering how many days would you recommend for a good no rushed visit, I'm planning on one day at Boulder Beach.
Any help is awesome thanks!

Welcome to the boards!
The length of your trip depends on what you want to do.
If you are going to do BOTH Silverwood AND Boulder Beach, 2 days should do.
If you are just going for one (or the other) you can get your fill in 1 day.

^Ditto.
Also keep in mind that the crowds are insane on weekends, especially if the weather is good. So, that may slow you down a bit, with having the longer lines you may not be able to do things much more than once.
Enjoy your trip, can't wait to hear what you think after all these years!

Cool thanks for your help.
I think we'll be visiting on a Monday and a Tuesday. Is there any places that offer discount tickets or good lodging deals?

You could try Costco. They have some pretty good deals. I'm not sure who else is offering them but in the past both Subway and Burger King have been invovled with cross-promotions.
Monday and Tuesday will be good days to visit. Crowds should be relatively manageable.

Visit was very good. Its much bigger than when I visited last time. A few things I noticed though is that the staff needs to work on their efficiency. They are too slow, we waited in line for Tremors for 50 mins, with an average of 4 min dispatch times, which is not good for a coaster with only one train. My wife and I have 15 years of amusement park ride operation experience and we couldn't believe at how slow the ops were when they only have one train available. 2 min should be the longest dispatch time on those coasters preferably I'd say 1 and half mins would be optimal.
I think they need to have both of their wood coasters modified with a transfer table and add a 2nd train. Both wood coasters are amazing and corkscrew is amazing as always.
Aftershock is the smoothest of the three deja vu coasters. It was much better than SF Magic Mountains copy.
We went to the Log Flume and the ride op was bouncing a basketball while operating the ride, no paying attention at all just going through the motions and more fixated on the basketball. We did contact the supervisor on that one and later when we went back the ball was gone.
We had a good time these are just some of our observations, Silverwood is a young park and is awesome! We hope that they will improve on these few little issues and keep on being awesome!

Glad you had a good time. I like your input. Everyone has been complaining about the single train for a long time. If they are going to continue with the single train then, like you said, they need to work on their efficiency. Where did you get your op experience? Hope your next visit is sooner than 10 years.

incoasters, great to hear of your trip.
I agree that the dispatch times are very poor at Silverwood. It is frustrating enough that these two awesome wooden coasters have only one train. But when you add slow dispatch times to that it makes the wait in line very frustrating indeed. I don't fault the Ride Operators...I think this is just a symptom of, as you point out, a very young park. Second train or not, they will have to address this as the park grows in popularity, and the lines grow longer.

I think something they need to implement is not rotating operating positions every ride cycle it eats up lots of time that could be better served in faster dispatch times. Rotate every half hour or hour is usually pretty good intervals.
