Stop thinking about it and just go see this movie.
As long as you don't have a problem with a shaky camera, that is.
You will not be disappointed.
But also, don't expect them to wrap it all up with a nice little bow on top at the end...

Saw it a few nights ago. They really added to the intensity by filming it as they did. This is what "The Blair Witch Project" could have been. Fantastic movie. I highly recommend it.

this would be a great theme park ride. I think the only problem would be is that the storyline and ride would be too similar to Kongfrontation.

Great movie, I was entertained the entire time. I cant wait for the DVD, so I can watch it a hundred times and find all the small hidden stuff in it. I Love JJ Abrams!

I thought the movie was very well made - kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. You really couldn't miss a second of it, because you had to focus so hard to be able to figure out what was going on the entire time! I think what made the movie so good was the fact that you really felt like you were right there with all of the characters, experiencing everything with them. It was very easy to forget that you were watching a movie. But you're right, Bud, not a happy ending! My wife turned to me at the end and said "Can we go home and watch a Disney movie or something? I need to see something to cheer me up!"

I saw this on opening day and I thought it was very well done. It was a fun film that lived up to all the hype it was getting.
It not only had it's thrilling moments (The first time you really see the creature and the surprise at the helicopter part got the audience really good.), but it also had some very funny bits thanks to Hud. (His conversation in the Subway tunnel really cracked me up.)
So overall, it was a great film to start the new year for me.
