^zero i dont know how you can say sw doesnt like to make people wait, just look at the two woodies! these are like the only two wooden coasters i'm aware of that run only one train all the time! awful! styvx, since I've actually never been to the park before, other than to the Job Fair and to HR to fill out papers, I'm a tad confused. Does Tremors not have two trains? And what about Timber Terror?

^ Hard to believe, isn't it?
That question all on its own goes a long way in backing up my point about SW only having one train per woodie. It LITTERALLY is unheard of for most people.

yes cali you are right. both woodies only have one train each. it is absolutely ridiculous and by far the single biggest complaint about silverwood. unfortunately since the northwest is pretty theme park starved most visitors dont know any different. they hate to wait but they dont realize what it could be like and is like at almost every other park in the world. for those of us that know better it is our biggest pet peeve.

In defense of the rides operators at Silverwood, when I was working there they were all trained to fill up every tub on thunder canyon as best they could. Some operators were really good at it, some were not, or didn't care. On the busiest days the management (myself included) would always make sure we had the best ones at the ride. On really busy days we would even put a second operator up there just to fill up tubs while the other person ran the ride. It's been a few years since I worked there, and things have changed. I believe they no longer allow guests in the loading building until they're ready to be loaded, which has got to make it a pain to organize/find groups of 8. I do agree more tubs would make the line move a little faster. As for the "Aftershock" wait time, I'd expect it to be about 90 minutes on busy days, less on slower days. The middle of the day should also be a much shorter wait as most people head over to the waterpark then. Oh, and hi "zerowest", I know who you are

Yeah.. okay. I rode Aftershock several times today, and when I arrived to the ride about 11:20, I waited about 20 minutes to get on. Note: This ride opened only a few days ago. Later on in the day, I was astonished by a 5 minute wait lasting from 3:30 to 4:30. This ride had shorter wait times than Tremors! The wait times are great, the queues are short, and I would ride this ride any day!

Also, the best time to ride Aftershock , especially on hot days would be between 2:30 and 5:30 PM. Many people are over at boulder beach at this time. I had 5 minute waits and rode several times.

hi i'm ride operator at SW and the aftershock wait time is really quick because the coaster has 32 seats plus only the best are up. ive ridden the ride ten times and never waited more then thirty minutes and five times the park count was at a record high of the season.
if any of you have come to the park this season you realize we now have two people at thunder canyon one to run the ride and one to count groups almost every day so shut the crap up and stop posting about it
