Great job guys! Teriffic report as usual. You guys always put together very detailed, yet entertaining reviews. This site has steadily improved over the years I have been visiting. Keep up the good work!

Great review as always guys, It's always nice getting the backstory on how the park came to be. (Never knew it was supposed to come out much earlier as well.)
Now there one little thing I have to point out, I can't exactly say that SW sepereated themselves from the pack with the attractions since Lazy Rivers, Interactive Forts and Wave pools are pretty much the bread and butter of any waterpark.
However...they certainly did a few things better then the rest. For example the interactive Fort is one of the few I know that let's everyone climb onto it. (Wild Waves water fort has a maximum height restriction!)
Not to mention the theming does help a lot since Avalanche Mountain is a better sight then most raft rides with visable supports.
But like I said before, great review and pictures as always. Keep it up!

I Slightly disagree with you. While for the industry as a whole, those things don't make silverwood stick out, locally they did. When Boulder Beach was opened, the water parks in the Spokane/CDA area only had slides and some smaller kid areas. None of them had any major slides, wave pools, lazy rivers, or anything else you would see at a good waterpark. Boulder Beach has encouraged competition in the area as most the area water parks have made recent major additions including lazy rivers, bigger slides, and wave pools.

^Good point, I was looking at the industry as a whole side of it. Locally I can see it certainly made the competition step things up.
