Screamscape reported this a few days ago - you have to be over 60 inches tall in order to ride Splash Mountain in the front seat now. I think this is pretty crazy but I agree with the screamscape guy - Disney kind of made this an issue by having individual seats instead of leaving it the way it was before. Check it out here.Thoughts?

how stupid. more rules. soon you won't be able to ride splash unless you are 6'1", 185 pounds, can provide a doctor's note clearing you of any health concerns, and don't have any dental fillings. i miss the days when we were all a little bit less worried about the sue-happy a-holes that infect our society. I think disney should have a moron test at the front gate; filter out the idiots and let the rest of us ride splash mountain the way we want. buck. naked. -styvx

I just wish they could get logs like WDW's version. But, since they can't, I actually can understand having a restriction like that for the front and really I don't see why it would be a problem to anyone. Your kids still get to ride. I have been on that ride many dozens of times and I can't say that it is one bit more enjoyable in the front. You really aren't missing out on anything, so to me, it isn't an issue at all.
