As we now can see from the latest RCA Trip Report, the Sky Diver is gone.
Anybody miss this thing? I for one hated it and i say: GOOD RIDDANCE. Painful, painful, painful. I get that they needed an upside-down flat ride but now that they have Spin Cycle, Sky Diver will not be missed by me at all.
Still, it was at the park for a long, LONG time. As far back as i can remember, when it was located over near Tilt-a-Whirl. Before boulder beach. Before either of the woodies arrived.
So a piece of the park's history is gone (even though it was not the original Sky Diver that they started with).
Anybody miss it?

While I never found Sky Divers to be painful, I can't say I miss it. With it having a no single rider rule, I rarely rode it to be honest.
Spin Cycle definitely fills it's spot as the better upsidown flat in RCA, and with the Sky Diver gone I can't help but think...if they either remove or move the Elephant ride, then they've got a nice chunk of extra space along with the field inbetween Tremors and the Log Flume for a future addition.

Not one bit. I couldn't stand that thing - painful, uncomfortable, nauseating. Spin Cycle is a million times better!

It was fun up until I got to a certain age (19 or 20) where the spinning made me too sick to ride it. Still, back in the day, it was a blast to operate when I worked there many years ago. Time went by fast and the manual operation of it never got boring.
