Skylark, you gotta stop making me so jealous!!
Great video, I've liked that song ever since I saw "Cars". Very well done...those parks look pretty good. Loved the part where all the rides were broken...that must have been at SFoG...correct?
Glad you had fun out there, keep the videos coming! We love em!

Yeah, that was SIx Flags with the closed rides. Of the first four coasters we went to, three were closed. Later in the day, one of them (Superman Ultimate Flight) opened so it ended up being a pretty good day with only two coasters not running. It just wasn't a good start. When it comes down to it, the only coaster that really matters at SFOG is Goliath. INSANE AIR!!!!! It is worth the price of admission just for Goliath.

Skylark,
Love to hear your thoughts on SFOG. Went there a few years ago...this was pre-Superman and of course pre-Goliath.
My personal fav was Mindbender. AWESOME Schwartzkopf. Everything Revolution used to be and more.
And GASM was by far one of the most violent coasters I've ever been on.
And you?

^ SFoG was a very good park I thought. Definitely my favorite SF park. A very nice variety of coasters. My two favorite coasters were the two that were not there when you went. Superman was great, not as good as Tatsu, but still very good. I really do love B&M flyers. Goliath was simply unbelievable. It is a very close second on my list of steel coasters after Xcelerator and that is only because of Xcelerator's launch.
Mindbender was probably my third favorite coaster in the park. The best Schwarzkopf coaster I have been on including Revolution before it got neutered.
While certainty not high on my list, I actually liked GASM. Solid out and back with some OK air time in spots although I only rode it once in the last car, middle row. I could see it being a little brutal in a wheel seat though. And, like any wood coaster, they have there good days and bad days.
Now, Georgia Cyclone on the other hand was horrible. I have honestly never had a more painful ride on any coaster in my entire life and that includes every ride I have ever had on Psyclone @ SFMM. Of course, I was in the last row and on the wheel so that probably had something to do with it.
I would rank the coasters like this.
1. Goliath (In its own class) 2. Superman-Ultimate Flight 3. Mindbender 4. Batman The Ride 5. Georgia Scorcher 6. GASM 7. Georgia Cyclone (only because I could tell it had potential to be much better) 8. Dahlonega Mine Train 9. Wile E. Coyote Canyon Blaster
Viper and Deja Vu were closed.
I also thought the dark ride, Monster Plantation, was very good.
Now, having said all that, Dollywood was even better with far less coasters.
