This is from the Spokesman-Review's "7" Section Do know someone who deserves a trip to Silverwood Theme Park? Tell us all about them and why they would love a free trip. It could be a member of your extended family, a friend, a classmate, a teacher, a neighbor, a co-worker, a church member, or anyone else in your life. We’ll pick three winners in each age category and give them each four one day passes. As a way of thanking you for sharing, we’ll present you with two one day passes, so you and a guest can enjoy more than 65 rides and attractions, including two exciting new rides. Age groups include grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. Entries must be between 100 and 500 words, and can be emailed to contests@spokesman.com or submitted online individually or as part of a class or school. Typed hard copies or electronic documents on a disc can be mailed to, or dropped off, at 999 W. Riverside Ave., Spokane WA 99201. Handwritten or faxed entries won’t be accepted unless special arrangements have been made. Essays must be turned in by 5 p.m. May 17. All essays meeting our approval will be displayed on www.spokane7.com. The Spokesman-Review and Silverwood will announce the top 12 selections on or around May 28. Entries must be between ages 5 and 18, attending a private or public school in the Greater Northwest (WA, ID, OR, BC, MT), or part of an accredited home school program.
