I have heard that they were having technical problems with SpinCycle on Sunday - the day after it opened - and that it was closed for a good portion of the day. Not surprising for any new ride. I'm sure they will get it worked out quickly.
FYI, Barnstormer opens this weekend, for those who are looking forward to the new "family" attraction. It will be in Garfield's Summer Camp....an area that desperately needs a new ride!

I think the Silverwood Gremlin was responsible for SpinCycle's malfunction. I don't think he cares for the name.

Bud, I agree that Garfield's Summer Camp was in desperate need of a new ride. But I'm kind of sad to see that they removed the treehouse area to install Barnstormer. Bummer that they couldn't just expand that area entirely. Those treehouses were one of the few things my daughter would have been able to do there this summer. Don't get me wrong - I'm very glad they are adding Barnstormer, but I just wish they had put it somewhere were they didn't have to remove something else. Boo!

They're already subbing attractions out? I'm always curious about how they plan out expansion, it feels like they're currently filling up alot of their pre aloted space. It'd be cool to see the park push out more but that'd probably take something like a coaster so I guess we have to be patient.

So I had no idea they were replacing the tree houses with Barnstormer.
BAD IDEA!!!
Garfield's Summer Camp needs MORE attractions! There are so many completely dead areas of Garfield's Summer Camp - why did they not put it in one of those?
Removing the tree houses is going to really upset quite a few little kids who I know personally found that to be one of their favorite parts of Silverwood.......

^Yeah, I noticed it when they posted the picture of it before it opened last week. However, looking at the new park map, it looks like there might still be the one treehouse left that was directly in front of the kids coaster. But the other one is gone for sure, along with the birthday pavilion and "sandbox" area.
Now, the pavilion and sandbox areas definitely deserved to go, but I wish they'd found a way to keep that other treehouse. Bummer.

Six Flags The Great Escape is getting this type of ride for the 2014 season and have named it Extreme Supernova.
