Ancient Ruins sounds great. I can't wait to see how it turns out The jungle can make use of the trees and other setups they already had for Terror Canyon but the ruins portion sounds really original and I can't wait to see how it turns out And yeah Blackout probably was changed due to name conflicts. I'm curious if other details about it will change as well. I've read descriptions of the NY/LA haunt and I can't say it sounds like my kind of thing. I wouldn't care much for being physically assaulted or forced to eat bugs. I already had to put my hand in unsanitary pools of liquid years ago when I helped repair an apartment after an eviction

Yup, the rename for Blackout is Total Darkness Everything else remains the same for it, location, logo and description.
An' right on cue, the site announced 3-Dementia will return. As rumored, it's in a brand new location.
Last year’s NEW attraction has now gotten even better!! The demented Rusty Sprocket has moved his 3D fun house to the south end of the park, which now boasts over 5,300 square feet of ALL NEW scares and 3D illusions. Put on your 3D glasses if you dare because each turn will bring you to a whole new level of fear.
Location: Pavilions
So it looks like 3-Dementia is going smack dab in the picnic pavilions (Another location which we thought would be a good spot for a maze). The facebook page also mentions it's been compleately redone.
Also, looking on the event's twitter, there's going to be a huge flame for one of the new attractions.
So that's ten attractions down, six to go. All of them new and the next couple of weeks will be quite exciting since the next update is the 30th, and there'll be three more scheduled announcements shortly after on the 1st, 3rd and 6th of September.

We've got to have whatever scarezone replaces Oddities. I'm now curious if an attraction will ever take up the old 3Dementia space or what the park has planned. I can't wait to see how this all turns out I wonder what a larger 3Dementia will be like.

Youknow I keep wondering if we'll see another attraction overlay. Not much else is possible though. I keep thinking somehow they'll do a Tremors backwards deal or something, though I'm not sure how they'd take your photo with that kind of setup.

I'm getting really excited now. Total Darkness sounds excellent (though I liked the name "Blackout" better....oh well). I'm stoked that Terror Canyon is getting a makeover. And I'm really glad to see 3-Dementia return, because of how awesome it was last year. This is looking to be a great year for Scarywood. The last year or two I found myself not really feeling all that excited to go, but this year I already can't wait to be there. Looking forward to seeing what else they have in store!

I'm just not sure tremors backward would be a very good idea...love the coaster, but backwards might be a bit TOO MUCH on that one. Always thought that the log flume could be cool for a haunt overlay...though cold at that time of year. But it does have a tunnel and the trees it winds through...they could do something very cool with that...just shut off that stupid sprayer at the bottom of the drop, since it will be so cold. You really don't get very wet on that ride, when the sprayer is off....

I think a haunt in the log flume would be too much of a safety risk due to its narrowness and unevenness.

even with limited splashing, I can't imagine them turning this one on for the haunt. the rain's likely made things hard enough on a number of occasions. As much fun as a log flume haunt sounds, I'd probably avoid it myself and my guess is so would alot of guests especially later in the month.

I'm pretty sure Silverwood turns the water off for Thunder Canyon and the log flume as soon as the regular season ends.
