From browsing the forums, I gather the lines can get long but I'm mostly seeing it's possible to do everything in a day. I've seen posts suggesting people to go during the week.
I'm going on a Sunday in September. I don't have any kids. It looks like a rather small park, so I bet we'd be able to do everything. I'm used to being familiar with parks and having a plan when visiting parks in southern California.
Any tips or do I need not worry?

I had one more question - are Garfield and Odie still out in September?
I can't figure out if the park is busier - because everyone is trying to go before it closes, or not as busy since the kids are in school. I've never been to a seasonal park before.
I'm not able to log in for some reason, but I'm the same person. Thanks.

September should be less busy simply because boulder beach will be closed. I think you'll find the crowds manageable, especially if you're used to SoCal parks. Have fun and let us know how it goes!

I'm nervous about getting everything done since it's only open 7 hours that day. Sounds/looks like it won't be a problem. Thanks!
