Well, I never really liked the place so I'm not sad to hear Six Flags wants to unload it. But I'm curious if there has been any news on this front? Are they planning to sell and if so, any potential buyers or speculation as to what happens next?
And what are your personal thoughts?

I actually kind of like the park. I have been going there sense I was a kid. I prefer there water park over Silverwoods, hands down. They also have more of a well rounded ride selection IMO they are just lacking anything great like Timber Terror and Tremors.
I'm sure SF is trying to find a potential buyer. I just hope whoever it ends up being will continue to run it as a theme park.

I've only been once, and it was years ago. They had just added Wild Things. I didn't ride any of the rides though, I just did the water park. I really liked their huge tube slide a lot. The rest of the water park was pretty cool, too, but the crowds were HORRIBLE!!! I'll never go there on a weekend again. I don't know if I'd say I like it better than Boulder Beach...I think I need to go back and refresh my memory.
Anyone been on Timberhawk? I was curious as to how that ride was. Looks kind of cool, but no one ever talks about it.

^ Timberhawk is more of a family woodie. Pretty tame in comparisson to Tremors or TT. Little to no air time but still a fun ride, just not very intense. It is very smooth for a woodie though. They also have a wild mouse that is actually one of the better mouses I have been on. They don't use the trims as much as most mouses so you get some good fast corners.
