Re: Wolfblood
I wasn't meaning to compare WW with Disneyland when it comes to ride selection, but rather to the overall feel of the park (friendliness of staff, cleanliness, type of crowds attracted...just the overall "niceness" of the park). And that's why I mentioned Silverwood and Enchanted Forest as well - both of which are smaller parks that provide a great atmosphere that makes me want to keep going back. I don't get that when I am at Wild Waves.
As for rides, you're right, you can't compare it to any of the bigger parks - it's in a different league, and they have a different target audience. And I'll agree that the selection of flats at Silverwood is very dismal. But the big difference to me is that Silverwood offers a lot of nice big attractions (the coasters, the drop tower, the rafting ride, the train ride, etc.) that make it worth going there more often. All Wild Waves has is a standard mouse and standard loopscrew which you can find at many other parks. The only thing remotely unique there is Timberhawk, which to me isn't worth riding more than a couple times. There is just nothing unique to ride there that you can't find anywhere else, and I think that's what they need to focus on if they want to grow, bring people back more often, and attract a larger audience.
So, I go back to my original point - there just isn't anything there that makes me want to go back that often, if at all. I'd recommend checking it out once if you're in the area on a nice sunny day and can enjoy the water park, too, but other than that, it just doesn't do much for me as a park.
