Or do you use alternate transportation such as the bus, train, plane , bike, or pogo stick?
I have two cars that I am embarassed to be seen in. I drive a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee which really doesn't fit my personality. The other vehicle I drive is a 2005 Dodge Caravan which is a car that is shared among friends.

I drive a 2001 Toyota Corolla that drinks oil like it's water (i.e. a quart about every 200-300 miles). 145,000 miles on it and counting! Still runs great, and though it's getting old, I still love it, and plan to use it as a commuter car until the wheels fall off...

Currently my family and I live in Pachuca, Mexico and we don´t have a car here. We have a 98 ford windstar in the states. We rely on Mexico´s public transportation system which is actually quite nice and inexpensive.

2003 Toyota Corolla. Commuter car. I don't care (and never have cared) what I drive, and I probably never will. If I had a million dollars I would still drive this car.

I have a 2004 Subaru Forester that I traded in my 2004 Kia Spectra for. The Subaru had low mileage on it, one previous owner, and was in mint condition. I wanted something a bit more on the safe side, and reliable. I also liked the fact it sits up higher, good in snow, and didn't mind a bit having an electric sun roof, cd player, and seat warmers for winter!! After my purchase alot of co-workers, neighbors, and friends told me you will be happy with the Subaru, they are good reliable cars. We just got it this past summer. It is the silver color that every other car seems to be! So far I am happy with it!

I feel that people would be happier without corporate-hugging, gas-guzzling, vehicles. But since I basically have no choice, I lease a 2010 Land Rover (with my company logo on the side for added tax benefits).
