I'm planning a trip down there this next summer with some other old employee's from silverwood. This new ride should add to the experience.

I only know one person who visited last year and they were actually pretty disappointed in Wicked. I guess after the launch the rest to the ride was trimmed up pretty bad. He said the second half of the ride was just plain bad, it was so slow, but he could tell it had great potential without the trims.
But, that is only one man's opinion of the ride. As an example, I think Silverbullet is one of the best B&M Inverts out there and I am certainly in the minority on that, so it just goes to show how varied people's oppinions of coasters can be.

We were there last July. IMO it was a fun ride. The laucnh is the best part, but the rest is fun too. It is weird to take the zero-g roll so slow though, you feel like you're gonna fall out. The only really bad thing about it is how short it is. We only got to ride it twicw because the line was so long that day. Lagoon is a fun little park to visit if you happen to be in the area. - Barry

I figured Bat is boring, but it is a "family coaster" and not geared to be a big thrill.
Surprised to hear Wicked is just so-so.
Did you ride Spider? That looks like a great ride to me.
And for the record, I LOVE Colossus...how many other coasters that go upside down twice can you ride with only a lapbar? Especially a Schwartkopf...

I'm also surprised to hear that so many of you thought Wicked was only sorta good. My brother in law went down there this past summer and loved it, but then again, he's not been to too many other theme parks. Come to think of it, he's only been to Silverwood (and not even on all of the coasters, for that matter!)

Spider was probably my favorite coaster there. The spinning tubs added a whole new level of adventure.

Wicked was fun, it would be alot better with shorter lines. I enjoy the atmosphere at Lagoon quite a bit. That being said, the coaster collection isn't all that great. I think my favorite there is the jet star. The woody is very rough, The Bat is well a junior hang-n-bang just so-so, the mouse is a mouse, Spider is fun, Colossus is ok and the kiddie is another kiddie. Overall Lagoon is a fun little park that I will visit again when I'm in the area. - Barry
