^I disagree. The ride is a ton of fun, if you are in the front seat. Especially that initial pullback. Looking straight down and hanging into your restraint is an experience very few coasters in the world can duplicate.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, though I my opinion I like Aftershock. It's one of the few coasters that still leaves me with my legs shaking a bit after I ride it, probably due to the full body, face first freefall. Myself I prefer the last row, and not holding onto the restraint at all.
I will say this is something Silverwood can be very proud of, they're able to operate a infamous ride that had trouble in bigger parks. I've read trip reports from people that rode the ride when it was back in Six Flags, and admit it's being run far better over here.
