This is looking good for a start. I loved the concept of RCT3 but my graphics card and processor weren't fast enough to keep up, so I never really got into the game like I wanted to. Well, my (almost) 6 year old computer finally bit the dust yesterday so I will be purchasing a new one this week, so maybe now it will work!!!

I still maybe have the same problem you have like, and maybe you can help me fix it... - I've been trying to load my Silverwood Theme Park on Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 from Scenario Editor button and the game keeps going off back to the desktop. - Sometimes the Virtual Memory is Low message also keeps popping up while I'm working on Silverwood on RCT3. - I've been trying to fix it by getting more disk space, removing old programs, and increasing system paging file sizes. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't work. Even when I load it up all the way from Scenario Editor loading spot, it takes like 15-25 minutes to load the park. - My computer sometimes moves slow and freeze up while I'm building rides, path lights, shops, etc. and sometimes riding the rides also. - I've downloaded all patches and updates for all RCT3 Expansion Packs!! - When it goes to night time, it takes a long time or the game freezes for all path lights to come on. - It goes slow or freezes sometimes when I open big parks like my last Silverwood on Sandbox Mode. - Can someone please help me with this problem? I think the windows will give much light to inside of the buildings because the building next to Entrance is Lindy's Restaurant. Most of my buildings are boxy and oh well, that's just how I build it and how I like it. Besides my park takes 15-25 minutes to load from Scenario Editor area. My PC needs more ram and inside those empty spots, I'll put in something like rides or RV park. More pics are coming, so stay tuned up in top post of this thread.

Sorry...all I can tell you is that this game requires an extremely high-end graphics card, and the processor to operate it properly. RCT3 was a great idea but was way ahead of what computers were (and maybe still are?) capable of. I just purchased my new computer this weekend, so eventually I hope to test out RCT3 on it to see if things are any better. But from many boards and posts I've read, it doesn't sound like I should get my hopes up.
Keep it up though - I'm interested in how your park turns out!

I would love to get a copy of this park. Any way to get it to me? Also, it sounds like your computer just needs more RAM. It"s actually a very easy thing to add, and you can get it cheap online (2gigs for about $50). If you want help finding the right RAM, send me an email silverwood@nuttyguy.com Also, someone once made Silverwood, Tremors, Timber Terror, and the Corkscrew all for RCT2 (all expansions needed). I can't remember who did it, Was it someone on these Forums? Anyways, I got them all in a zip file online. Here is the Link: www.nuttyguy.com/y-files/silverwoodRCT.zip

How did the person do the Paratrooper on RCT2? I want to build my own types of rides, buildings, paths, and lights on RCT3. Some other users have been making their own paths, buildings and lights. I've been thinking is they use custom scenery and other things, which I don't know of. The people on Atari Community think my buildings are too blocky and needs lots of work. More pictures are coming in top or next post, so stay tuned!!

There's no pics yet, but I've been working on the park lately this summer!! I'm still trying to get the right music, plus the buildings and scenery exactly the way it looks like at the real Silverwood/Boulder Beach WP. My laptop has been broken for three weeks now, but it'll be fixed sometime next week. When it gets fixed, I'll get back to working on the park. I might even post pics and videos of the park on this forum and on YouTube!!

I believe I still have these files somewhere. I'll take a look if I get a chance when I get home and put them back online.
