^ I can see we have similar tastes in coasters. Of course I'm guessing by your list that you, like me, have only been to mostly west coast theme parks. One thing I was surprised to see was Roar at SFMW not on your list. I put that woodie right up there with Tremors and Ghost Rider.
Anyway my overall top ten would be as follows.....
1. Ghost Rider - KBF 2. Xcelerator - KBF 3. Medusa-SFMW 4. Goliath - SFMM 5. Tremors 6. Roar - SFMW 7. Riddlers Revenge - SFMM 8. X - SFMM 9. Top Gun - PGA 10. Silver Bullet - KBF
Very close to making the list Giant Dipper - Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Timber Terror

I'll bite...
1. Xcelerator 2. Ghostrider 3. Goliath 4. California Screamin' 5. Medusa 6. Tremors 7. Roar 8. Riddler's Revenge 9. Matterhorn Bobsleds 10. Timber Terror
This is sure to change quite a bit after I visit Cedar Point this summer.
Oh yeah, and if it were a coaster, the X-Scream on the stratosphere would be my #1 ride of all time, just out of sheer terror.

One thing I was surprised to see was Roar at SFMW not on your list. I put that woodie right up there with Tremors and Ghost Rider. Yeah, that is definitely a great ride. It's really hard for me to pick just 10 favorite coasters. There are too many that I like. After re-thinking about it, I'd probably put Roar up there right above Riddler I suppose. It's been so long since I visited that park, but when I started thinking about it again, I relalized I'd forgotten how much I liked that ride. And yes, you're right, I've only been to west coast parks. I'd like to visit some parks in other parts of the country someday, but it probably won't be for a while.

Having ridden several new coasters this year, along with re-riding many previous coasters in my count here is my revised overall top ten.
1. Xcelerator 2. Thunderhead 3. Ghost Rider (at night) 4. Goliath - SFOG 5. Tatsu 6. Tremors 7. Medusa - SFMW 8. Goliath - SFMM 9. Roar - SFMW 10. Superman Ultimate Flight - SFOG
A few notes: This year two B&M flyers were added to my top ten. I rode my first B&M hyper Goliath at SFOG at number four and only number two on my steel list behind Xcelerator. Tremors actually moved up a bit for me after getting some great rides this summer. X has fallen quite a bit for me after this year (probably wouldn't even make top 20 overall). For the first time I have no B&M inverts in my top ten, although Top Gun @ PGA and Silver Bullet are VERY close. Finally, I only hold Ghost Rider at number three because of how insane and out of control it runs at night, during the day, it would not be a top ten coaster for me.

Nice to see Tatsu so high up there for you. I was in Valencia a couple of weeks ago on business and drove up to the park's maingate (it was a Monday - the park was closed). I could barely make out the ride in the background.
I've done the virtual ride online...it looks very nice...anyplace to see a good POV?

^ Click on the link below then chose the B-roll footage in the right hand column. It starts with some edited B-roll they shot on media day (including some really cool areal shots of Tatsu in action) then it has a full reverse POV and finishes with at full front seat POV. This is the best you will find for a POV. While watching, take note of just how HUGE the pretzel loop is on that sucker. Without this single eliment it wouldn't even be in my top ten, but because of it, it sits firmly at number 5. www.prnewswire.com/mnr/sixflags/24058/

^Wow...I'm speachless...that looks like such a great ride! Thanks for the link, that was a good video. I've got to get down there sometime and ride this (especially if SFMM closes like the rumors say...though I still don't believe them).
Aside from Tatsu, I noticed you said that you put Ghostrider at night at the top of your list. Last time I was at KBF, my wife and I rode in the back car at night, and I agree, it was absolutely insane. But to me, it was waaaay too much. It was so out of control, I couldn't enjoy the ride at all. So, needless to say, I'm the exact opposite of you, I like Ghostrider better during the day. At night, it's just too insane for me anymore! It didn't seem to be quite that bad before though. I like a coaster that goes nuts like that, but I have a point where I draw the line.
